Chris is a local lad who grew up in Bournville. He attended Bournville junior school and K.E Five Ways. After university in Cardiff and four years in Swansea he returned to Bournville and joined the practice owned by his father Ian Payne, where he has been now for the past 18 years.
Chris is primarily interested in continuing to provide top class family dentistry to the long standing patients of the Bournville Village Dental Practice.
He has a passion for conservative smile design and has so far this year undertaken study courses in whitening, quick straight teeth, composite artistry and implant restoration along with attending the Denplan conference.
He is a member of the British Dental Association and DPAS.
Outside of dentistry he has three boys and two girls, which as you can imagine keep him extremely busy while providing a great source of fulfilment and pleasure. He enjoys watching and coaching the boys in rugby and watching the girls play netball. Chris enjoys taking a break with his family, to South Wales where his father’s family are from or Skiing anywhere he gets the opportunity. When he occasionally has a spare afternoon he enjoys a round of golf
